Chester le Street nursery has an Outstanding Ofsted rating and offers full day care to children aged 0-5. The Nursery is well equipped light and modern offering a stimulating environment with plenty of sensory equipment.

Staff are highly qualified with vast experience of working with young children. The Nursery caters for up to 110 children and is open 5 days a week 51 weeks of the year (not including bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New year)

Our highly qualified and experienced staff team includes Early Years Educators, chef and domestic teams.

Play Rooms

0-2 years of age. Each age group is lead by a room lead supporting a small team. Room can accommodate 30. You can expect your baby to get one to one care, with qualified, experienced and caring staff, in a warm and nurturing environment.

2-3 years of age. Each age group is lead by a room lead supporting a small team. Room can accommodate 40. You can expect your toddler to learn and explore in an environment rich in natural resources, alongside experienced staff who understand toddler development.

3-5 years of age. Each age group is lead by a room lead supporting a small team. Room can accommodate 40. You can expect your pre-schooler to learn and explore in a caring, stimulating environment, with staff that support learning in an active and exciting way.

I just want to add as you know my son William attends Bright Star Nursery and has now gone into preschool with yourselves. I want to say a massive thank you, to you all. He’s such a happy smiley little boy and he’s coming on such a treat. He’s a credit to me and his dad were so proud of him and everything he has achieved through the hard work from the staff at Bright Star. He talks about nursery all the time from his teachers, his friends and everything he has been learning.
